Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Adding a 4-pole to the back of your Atlas is gonna help you to be able to pull trailers. This is gonna transfer the lighting signal safely to the taillights on your trailer so that it lets others know what your intentions are on the road. Now, if you're wanting to eventually install a 7-pole on your vehicle so that you have brakes to be able to pull a trailer with brakes, you're gonna have to start with a 4-pole kit first and then you can upgrade to a universal wiring kit that we have on our website. You can combine that with this kit and that'll get you both 4 and 7-pole on the back of your Atlas. more

Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness on our 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. Now, our Tekonsha wiring harness is going to provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector, which is going to be one of the most common trailer connectors out there. It's going to provide us all the lights we need to safely and securely get down the road with our trailer, like our tail lights, our turn signals, and our stoplights. Now, our Tekonsha wiring is going to come with a dust cover, so you can keep all that dirt, debris, moisture, and everything else out of the connectors inside, hopefully preventing corrosion.But when we're not towing, we can actually store our wiring on the inside because it is designed to stay in there until we're ready to use it.
